The First and Second Click program are a state government initiative to provide learning materials and community based grants aimed at people wanting to take their first steps towards computer literacy. The training offered through First Click and Second Click does not involve testing or assessment  of participants and will be provided to participants free of charge. The Department of Training and Workforce Development provide funding for the program.
First Click
First Click includes basic word processing using Microsoft Word 2010. The uses of email – send and receive emails, attach files and photos, create and store emails into folders, delete emails. Along with developing the ability to surf the internet and navigate in web sites effectively and efficiently.
Second Click
Exploring the internet for various topics and gaining the knowledge on how to use and access these sites securely and safely, topics include – online shopping, banking online, paying bills online, travel online, online groups and communities (Skype, Facebook, public forums), job searching, Western Australian Government and Digital Photography.
Bridging the gap offers training in First and Second click at our Kwinana and Rockingham offices. The training consists of two days a week for four weeks. This four week program covers both the first and second click programs.
