National Green Jobs Corp

 

NATIONAL GREEN JOBS CORPS is the Australian Governments environmentally focused work experience and  accredited training grogram for 17-24 year olds.

National Green Jobs Corps participants will be offered a combination of work experience, skill development and accredited training. Participants will work on projects focused on conservation, protection and rejuvenation of Australia’s natural environment and cultural heritage.

Involvement in National Green Jobs Corps leads to a nationally recognised qualification which will help lead to future employment and training opportunities.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

• Income support recipients aged 17-24 years who are:
  • Receiving Youth Allowance (other) Newstart Allowance or Parenting Payment and not working more than 15 hours per week.
  • Disability Support Pension recipients willing to work 15 hours per week or more
• 17-20 year olds who are not in receipt of Income Support Payments and not working more than 15 hours per week or in full-time education.
