Employment Advisor
Bridging The Gap require Full Time Employment Advisor (Maternity Leave Relief, 12 months Contract) to work predominately at our Kwinana Office, however, as we do service four sites, Rockingham, Kwinana and Shenton Park, there may be a need to work there as required.
Employment Advisor (EA) works as guide, coach and advocate, working with job seekers to develop and implement a unique Employment Pathway Plan. The EA supports the job seeker to navigate a pathway toward achieving sustainable employment, drawing on a range of resources and connections. The EA will negotiate and encourage employment planning strategies so as to achieve successful outcomes for job seekers. The Employment Advisor focuses on abilities and aspirations and works to directly connect each person with the right providers, employers and services available in the community to meet their identified needs.
You need to be highly motivated, organised, a team player and be strongly customer focused, also having an understanding of the barriers & challengers faced by jobseekers.
After a qualifying period you will be required to complete Cert IV Employment Services, (Bridging The Gap will finance this course.)Â

Reception/Administration Officer
Bridging The Gap require a Part Time (45.6 hrs fortnight) Reception/Administration Officer to work predominately at our Kwinana Office.
Reception/Administration Officer will provide quality reception service and maintain accurate electronic nd hard copy files which include data entry, file notes, EPF accounts and associated JSA tasks in support of the staff and job seekers. The Reception/Administration Officer will also conduct client contact including confirmation of appointments, update resumes for Job seekers, and register job seekers looking for work..
You need to be highly motivated, organised, a team player and demonstrate a strong customer focus, as well as having an ability to develop, implement and maintain effective administration and financial systems.Â
