We are proudly participating in the Western Australian Containers for Change Program. Our depot is designed as a social enterprise, not only helping the environment, but providing a vital training and employment pathway back into the workforce for our local clients.
Through this initiative we aim to increase local employment opportunities while promoting recycling and reducing the number of drink containers that litter our environment in Western Australia.
Do you want to get involved? Making the change is easy:
- Sign up for a Scheme ID (or no need to if you would rather be paid in cash). Our BTG Scheme ID is : C10241335
- Collect eligible containers (look for the refund mark e.g. 10c refund at collection depots/points in participating State/Territory of purchase. Most plastic, glass, aluminium, steel and paper-based containers between 150 millilitres and 3 litres are eligible for refund.
- Return your eligible containers to our refund point in Port Kennedy, and claim your refund. You have the option to donate your refund to a community group, registered charity, or school of your choice (including Bridging the Gap!).
- Alternately you can return your containers to your nearest community collection point.

All community pick up containers will be donated to Bridging the Gap to help us support people in our community. We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission.
