How we are empowering parents
Our new parenting program – Parent Pathways is empowering parents to achieve their goals.
Funded by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, our new parenting program is voluntary, personalised and flexible. It is all about supporting parents with their individual needs, and empowering them to achieve their goals. Participants will work with a mentor to find activities, services and training that meets each person’s individual needs.
Some of the services on offer include language or literacy programs, help with child care, referrals to family and domestic violence supports and training and career guidance.
What makes Parent Pathways special?
What makes Parent Pathways unique is that it is flexible. Parents can choose when to join, take a break if they need, and come back at any time. We understand that parenting makes life really busy, so having the option to press pause if needed is a welcome element of Parent Pathways.
Parent Pathways also fits in well with our established service delivery style, where we work with people on their individual needs, and empower them to achieve their goals. With a strong history of supporting people into work and mentoring parents who are grappling with life’s challenges, we know that individual goal setting, mentoring, and connecting with services across local communities leads to successfully reaching personal, work-related or parenting goals.
Our locations
We have two full-time locations where people can come to see us – Armadale and Cannington. Both are beautifully designed with dedicated kids areas, so people can bring their children to appointments. We also have a part-time location in Gosnells.
