On the 16 May 2018, we celebrated the launch of the Career Readiness for Young Parents Program on the Mandurah foreshore. The Minister for Social Services, the Honourable Dan Tehan MP and the Federal Member for Canning, Andrew Hastie MP attended the celebrations.
Approximately 50 guests from local Mandurah and Rockingham agencies joined our Board and staff members. Commercial cookery students from Empyrean supplied a delicious range of baked good for the morning tea.
The Career Readiness for Young Parents is a program we in both Mandurah and Rockingham, to help young parents 25 years and under become career ready.
The mighty eco warriors of the Certificate II for Conservation and Land Management were commissioned by CSBP Kwinana to design and plant their front garden. So on the 3 May 2018 they took to the task and within a short time the task was complete.
